45th REUNION UPDATE:
A POSSIBLE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN
WILL NOT IMPACT REUNIONS
Your Reunion Committee and the Alumni Association have received a few queries on whether or not our Reunion will be impacted by a possible Government shutdown. We are happy to report our Reunion will NOT be affected.
On Thursday, we received assurances from the Alumni Association’s Director of Class Programs, and verified by the U.S. Naval Academy’s Director of Special Events, which stated: “the Yard expects all reunion activities to go forward as planned. Gameday events at the Stadium will not be impacted, nor will events at Fluegel Center nor USNI.”
The Reunion Committee will inform you of any changes. For now, all our Reunion Events are still a “go” and will — in all probability – remain a “go” until we say “Goodbye” at our Sunday Farewell Brunch.
Questions or Problems. If you have any questions about the Reunion – or problems – please contact our Reunion Committee Chair, John Cooke, jgcooke@1978.USNA.com or 410-570-6366 or his wingman, your class scribe, Vince Balderrama, canoeu78@aol.com or at v19b78@yahoo.com or cell- 315-708-9214.
See you at our 45th Reunion!
