It’s that special time of year again at Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity (NETSAFA) in Pensacola where we honor Bill Yeager’s legacy as a former NETSAFA CO. The 2021 recipient of the CAPT William E. Yeager Award for Excellence in International Security Cooperation Training and Education Programs is Mr. Ed Leven. Ed is a superb financial analyst. He helps ensure the living allowance monies needed to support FMS and grant programs for thousands of students annually are properly disbursed and processed to make their training/education stint with the US Navy successful. The art of building positive partnerships with our allies on an individual basis is clearly a “people business,” and Ed is a master at making those objectives realized with a smile for all he encounters.
