PEO Ships and Austal honor Terry O’Brien

In a tribute to our classmate Terry O’Brien, PEO Ships and Austal commissioned two works of art by artist Peter Hsu to honor Terry.  The works are the card below that was sent to Wendy and the family and the second is a tribute drawing just below it that documents Terry’s career, depicting his command of USS Pensacola, the Nassau Amphibious Strike Group, and the two ship classes built by Austal.  Peter Hsiaoyew Hsu was born in China and came to the United States as an art student in 1965.  He became interested in art during his early childhood in China, and he has experience in many different mediums of fine art.  Peter does the official drawings and paintings for all new ships upon the occasion of their commissioning ceremony.
