The swearing-in ceremonies for Atlantic Beach Mayor Ellen Glasser and new City Commission members Mike Waters and Bruce Bole are tentatively scheduled for Nov. 23, pending certification of the Nov. 3 election.
Waters and Bole were elected to office on Nov. 3; Glasser was re-elected. Originally scheduled to be held today (Nov. 9), the swearing-in ceremonies are delayed because Duval County’s election results have not been certified. City of Jacksonville officials said today that they expect the election results to be certified on Nov. 13.
The Atlantic Beach City Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. today in the Commission Chamber of City Hall, 800 Seminole Road. The agenda is published at www.coab.us/calendar.
