Rusty Cone (11th Co.) reports that a few of us got together for the Brigade Boxing championships. They enjoyed the boxing then gathered over at the multipurpose gym for the annual Hoop games on Saturday. Rusty says the NJ contingent with Tony Cato were victorious in the 4 on 4, and then 3 on 3 continuing our positive streak. Stephen Maloney (16th Co.) is the ring leader and has pulled together classmates during this weekend for years! This year Doug Diehl (25th Co.) and his brother Curt “Duke”, Glen Ives (10th Co), Craig Diffie (10th Co.), Tony Cato (30th Co.), Steve ‘Jocko’ Maloney (16th Co.), and Greg “Rooster” Reusso joined in the games.
Mission one was accomplished, no additional medical issues developed.
However, a Go Fund Me page needs to be set up for Glen’s favorite hoop sneakers which had a significant structural failure!
