So despite Hurricane Milton’s best attempts to disrupt things Dave Brown (18th Co.) and his wife Barb were able to get to Orlando yesterday and join Andy and Cindy Mohler (also 18th Co.) for the 249th Navy Birthday Ball sponsored by the Central Florida Navy League. Andy is now the President of the Florida Navy League and his daughter Berkeley is an officer on the Central Florida chapter and helped set up this year’s ball. Andy and Dave grew up about 30 miles apart in Ohio and were both in 18th Company. They shared an apartment in flight school and both did their first squadron tour on USS Eisenhower. They both went through Test Pilot School, although not in the same class, and were both at NATC Patuxent River.
