To the great Class of ’78,
I would simply like to reiterate my strong passion to serve as your next class secretary. So much has been expertly done to capture our class legacy, but there is so much more to be done with so many exciting opportunities before us. My candidacy cannot provide you with the comfort and experience that incumbents offer, but I do offer you a different set of experiences combined with a new level of energy, excitement, perspective, and focus to serve.
My entire career has been dedicated to serving our great nation and local communities. I retired from the Marine Corps as a Judge Advocate advising the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, I retired from the DoD Office of General Counsel as a senior level attorney, and I now serve my local community in uniform as a patrol officer. I now ask for the opportunity to serve you. I committed to each of you in my candidate statement the initiative, creativity, attention to detail, dedication, persistence, and perseverance to make you proud you chose me as your class secretary. If you have time before you vote, please reread my candidate statement. And if elected, I look forward to serving and meeting each of you.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
Semper fi and Go Navy!
