Classmates,
Your class officers recently approved adding two members-at-large to our Board to fill recent vacancies. These vacancies occurred when Sean Coffey had to resign as our class Vice President when he became the Navy Department’s General Counsel in February, and a member-at-large position has been vacant since we lost Terry O’Brien last year.
Our Class By-laws allow our Class President to nominate to our Board class members to fill any vacancies for the remainder of a term. Our Class Board, consisting of our President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer and three members-at-large, received and unanimously approved the following nominations: Matt Elias (11th CO) will now serve as our Class Vice President, and Larry Galvin (15th CO) and Scott Provow (21st CO) will serve as members-at-large until the next election in 2023.
