As we have done every year for the last decade, Diane and I organized our hiking group to make the solemn trek to Arlington National Cemetery to support Wreaths Across America by helping to place wreaths on each of the gravesites. Made a special visit to chat with my Dad, Col Gerard O’Keefe, USMCR (Ret) (veteran of WW II, Korea, Vietnam) and my grandfather, BG Benjamin Sullivan, USA/Mass National Guard (WW II veteran). Always a great experience to be among so many who have honorably worn the cloth of our Nation before us.
