GREENWICH, Conn. — RSR Partners, a leading board and executive search firm, announced today the appointment of C. Jeffrey Grogan as a senior advisor. As a leading strategist and business development consultant, Mr. Grogan will advise the firm on strategy development and implementation, organizational effectiveness, and competitiveness issues.
Announcing Grogan’s appointment, RSR Partners Chief Executive Officer Barrett Stephens stated, “We are delighted that Jeff is joining us as a senior advisor, a newly-created role at our firm. Previously, Mr. Grogan was a partner of Monitor Group, a leading international strategy consulting firm. At Monitor, he developed competitive strategies for U.S. and international clients in various industries, including defense electronics, automotive, steel, shipbuilding, telecommunications, and professional services. He was also a member of Monitor’s Office of the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Monitor, Mr. Grogan served as an officer in the U.S. Navy as the navigator and gunnery officer of a guided missile destroyer. He also served as a combat systems officer for the commander of a squadron of U.S. Navy warships in the Pacific and Indian Oceans and the Arabian Sea.
Mr. Grogan is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in international security affairs. Following his naval service, he earned a MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
